Sometimes the best first step is just to find one other person who would like to be your writing partner. That way you don’t have to be committed to an already established club and your schedules can be more flexible. But when other writing friends hear about you and your writing partner, they may want to join you as well, and voila — you’ve started your own club. 🙂
